Our school promotes a positive learning environment for students by implementing a variety of programs and practices. We utilize our district's Critical Concepts, which are the priority standards of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts and Mathematics. Our counselor teaches the 2nd Step social/emotional program to all students, and we are a Leader in Me school, focused on helping students to be the leaders of their own learning. We provide a variety of extracurricular opportunities for students,such as art, golf and Ballet Folklorico. We plan to add opportunities throughout the 2024-25 school year.
Class Size
In grades K-3, each class has a maximum of 24 students. In grades 4-5, classes may have up to 35 students, but our classes generally do not exceed 30.
